Somewhere halfway around the world, I found time to bang some graphics out for the Trans World Expedition website. Pretty simple things, but it was nice to get some graphics work done. I left New York about 8 months ago…

    Dear readers,
Back in the summer of 2009, I began to work on a challenging map. Trying to find out if it was possible to drive around the world. Now that the map is done, I will attempt the drive, just to make sure I got it right.

    world

A graphic showing my route will be published with a AP story next week

My last day as an art director at the Associated Press will be November 2, and from there, I expect this blog to be half asleep. While I will be traveling, if I find some interesting design content, I will definitely post it here, but in the meantime, if you are interested to follow my travel, you should go on my other blog at http://transworldexpedition.com

With 600 RSS subscribers, I think this blog has been a success, and I definitely intend to get back to it in a year, when I will be back, so please keep it bookmarked, and stay connected to the feed.

And speaking of getting back, I will be looking for a job at this point, so if you like my work and your dream is to give me a big paycheck every two weeks, please contact me. I should be back in the U.S. in the winter of 2010, and would consider exotic places as well.

One last thing. I know there are people from many countries following my blog, and I would like to visit you, wherever you are. So please check the map, and let me know if I will be close to you. Then I can come, maybe see your workplace, and we can have a drink.

    Waiting to hear from you!

    Nick
