Protect your Home Against Rising Waters
As floodplains expand and serious storms become more frequent, U.S. homes are at ever-greater risk of water damage. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration tracks major flooding incidents and says that last year, there were four flooding disasters with damage costs of at least $1 billion each. The total cost of those four disasters in 2023 was $9.3 billion. The cost to a homeowner from even minor flooding can be significant: A single inch of water can cause $25,000 worth of damage.
